SCHOOL DAY
CP Riverside Schools operates staggered start and end times for each key stage, enabling us to effectively support all students throughout the academic year.
Key Stage 3 students (Years 8 and 9) start each day at 09:00 and end their day at 14:10, for a total of 25 hours and 50 minutes each week.
Key Stage 4 students (Years 10 and 11) start at 09:45 and end their day at 15:10 (Monday – Thursday) and start at 09:45 and finish at 14:10 each Friday. This totals 26 hours and 05 minutes each week.
The length of our compulsory school days for both Key Stage 3 and 4 is currently under review. CP Riverside School leaders hope to increase the compulsory school timings from September 2025.
