INFORMATION

Students at CP Riverside work towards external examinations in year 11.

Whether sitting GCSEs, BTECs or other Vocational qualifications, we support our students to achieve their potential and progress to a positive post-16 destination.

We recognise that exam time can be difficult for young people and we will ensure all our students understand the exam process and are as well prepared as possible.  The school has a comprehensive Exams Policy  which takes account of access requirements, reasonable adjustments, results etc.  Please take a look at the policy and if you require further clarification please contact the school office on 0115 9864098.

We also have an Examinations System Contingency Plan to cover any emergency situation during exam time.

The JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) issue rules and guidelines for students taking examinations.  This information is detailed below and we ask that you and your child make yourself aware of them prior to the start of the summer examination season.
